Pastoral Care
We want to provide the best possible pastoral care for all the members of
the parish. To be able to do so, we need the cooperation of every one of
our members. Please call the parish office (480-968-4111) if you
or someone you know becomes ill, homebound, hospitalized, or needs to discuss
a personal problem.
- Home or Hospital Communions
- are regularly administered to all who ask us to bring communion to
them by the Clergy and/or Lay Eucharistic Ministers. Simply notify the
parish office and a time will be arranged to suit your convenience.
- Pastoral Counseling
- is available from the Rector by appointment. If you are troubled or
concerned about something, please contact the Clergy.
- Remarriage after Divorce
- requires additional counseling and the permission of the Bishop to
perform the marriage. At least one month's notice is required between
the letter of permission from the Bishop and the date of the ceremony.
- Burials
- are customarily from the Church. The Rector is available to assist
you with funeral arrangements and planning. At the time of death of
a loved one, notify the church at the same time you notify the funeral
director.
- Private Confessions
- are always available through the Clergy. Episcopal policy is "all
may, some should, none must," but we recommend the Sacrament for the
benefit of your soul.
