Sacraments and Instruction
- Eucharist -
- All who have been baptized with water in the name of the Holy Trinity
and who are in love and charity with their neighbors are invited to
receive Holy Communion. First communion preparation is offered for children,
second grade and older.
- Baptism -
- Information on procedures for Baptism is available from the church
office or the Rector. The Church of the Epiphany encourages public baptisms
on Holy Saturday (Easter Eve), the Day of Pentecost, All Saints' Sunday,
and the First Sunday of Epiphany. Baptisms may be scheduled at other
times in consultation with the Rector.
- Marriage -
- Persons wishing to be married must make arrangements with the Rector,
preferably at least three months in advance. A brochure is available
in the church office regarding guidelines and fees for weddings at Epiphany.
- Confirmation -
- Adult persons wishing to make a mature commitment and affirmation
of their faith are invited to attend the Inquirer's Classes, which are
held periodically. Young people, ninth grade and older, may attend the
youth Confirmation Class, which meets each year from fall until the
end of the Easter season.
- Unction -
- Prayers for healing and the annointing are available after the 10
a.m. service, the 1st Sunday of each month.
- Confessions
- Confessions are heard by the Clergy by appointment or as scheduled
in the STAR, our monthly newsletter.
